I have always been a storyteller, and I have always been deeply interested in people. So much so that I pursued psychology in college. It wasn’t until two years ago, after I started guiding in the Chattahoochee National Forest, that living in the grit of nature gave me clarity on the way I lived, worked, and breathed. I transitioned to nomadic living, moved into a ‘95 GMC van, started traveling, and spending more time in the backcountry. Now, story is something I live, not just write or film.
If my degree in psychology gave me the words, and my love for storytelling gave me the pen, then nature has given me the canvas.
